Both presumptive Presidential candidates are currently calling for significant reductions in greenhouse gas(GHG) emissions below 1990 levels by 2050. Senator Barack Obama is calling for an 80% reduction and Senator John McCain is calling for a 60% reduction. Achieving these goals will require virtually every aspect of our society to be revistied including not only green buildings and green products but where those green buildings are located and where those green products get produced and consumed. Achieving these goals will require considerable effort for generations to come.</description>
